How Do I Find Out Which Tire Size My Vehicle Requires?
When determining the appropriate tire size for your vehicle, inspect the sticker located on the inside of the driver’s door jamb. This sticker provides detailed information about the recommended tire size dimensions for both the front and rear wheels. It’s essential to cross-reference this information with the current tire size on your vehicle to ensure a match.
Do You Offer Discounts, Promotions Or Sales On Tires?
At Canada Tire Pro, we take pride in offering transparent pricing policies. Our listed prices are final, reflecting our commitment to providing the most cost-effective brand-new tires in Calgary and Edmonton. While some retailers offer individual discounts on request, we meticulously set our prices in advance to ensure all our customers receive exceptional value.
If it were within our means to provide discounted rates on tires, we would extend this benefit uniformly to our entire customer base. Our ethos is rooted in equity and consideration for all our valued customers.
What Is A Tire Load Rating?
The tire load rating, commonly referred to as the load index, is a numeric code found on the sidewall of a tire. This code serves as a crucial indicator, specifying the maximum weight that each tire can safely bear when maintained at the appropriate inflation level.
All-Weather Tires – Are They Suitable For Me?
All-weather tires provide Albertan drivers with a cost-effective solution, eliminating the necessity for two sets of tires. However, their suitability varies. If you’re contemplating the purchase of all-weather tires, a quick read of this five-minute overview could assist you in making an informed decision.
What Is a Tire Speed Rating?
A tire speed rating is a code or letter associated with a tire that indicates the maximum speed the tire can safely sustain over a prolonged period. The speed rating is determined through laboratory testing under specific conditions.
Are Tires Sold at Canada Tire Pro New or Used?
All of the tires that we sell at Canada Tire Pro are new tires. As we import tires directly from the manufacturers, in general most of the tires we sell reach our shop within three months of their manufacture date. This can be confirmed by checking the DOT information printed on the sidewall of the tire.
Can I Use The Same Set of Tires All Year Round?
In Alberta, only all-season tires that display the three peak mountain snowflake symbol are suitable to drive all year around. If a tire does not display this symbol – even if it’s all-season, all-terrain or mud-terrain – the rubber compound will freeze in cold temperatures and traction will be lost. Conversely, tires designed specifically for winter cannot be used in the summer as their soft rubber compound will degrade quickly and be liable for blow-outs in higher temperatures.
Are tires sold at Canada Tire Pro covered under warranty?
Almost all of our tires come with a 50,000km/1 year warranty as standard. A tire returned under warranty will be fully refunded, or replaced free of charge depending on stock. In some rare cases, tires on Final Sale are not covered under warranty – but we will always inform you of this before you purchase a tire on final sale.
